Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Protween desktop application, the Protween Figma plugin, and the protween.com website (together, “the Service”). By downloading, installing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. License
Protween is sold as a one-time purchase. A successful purchase grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the version you purchased and any updates released within the same major version on up to two devices you personally own or control.
2. Trial mode
You may use Protween without a license to evaluate the product. The trial is unlimited; all exports produced without an active license carry a watermark. Bypassing or removing this watermark by means other than purchasing a license is prohibited.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service except where allowed by law.
- Resell, sublicense, or redistribute Protween or any portion of it.
- Use the Service to capture content you do not have the right to use.
- Use the Service in any way that violates applicable laws.
4. Intellectual property
The Service, including the Protween name, the desktop client, the Figma plugin, and all documentation, is and remains the property of the Protween developer. The video files YOU produce with Protween are entirely yours; we claim no rights over your exports.
5. Refunds
Refunds are governed by the Refund Policy and may be requested within 3 days of purchase if the product cannot be used as intended.
6. Disclaimer of warranty
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, Protween disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Protween's total liability arising out of or in connection with the Service is limited to the amount you paid for the license in the twelve months preceding the claim.
8. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. The current version is always available at this URL with the date last updated above.
